Our 4th Annual Chili Cook-off and Dinner will be held October 17, 2026!
The 4th Annual Chili Dinner and Chili Cook-off will be held in the Mt. Hope Township Community Hall on Saturday October 17th, 2026 from 1 – 4 pm. Each chili dinner will cost $10 and includes a bowl of homemade chili, a hot dog or peanut butter & jelly sandwich, dessert, & a drink. Kids’ meals will be available.

- Here is what you need to know:
- The Chili Dinner & Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday October 17th, 2026, from 1 – 4 pm at the Mt. Hope Township Community Hall.
- There is no entry fee.
- Please bring your chili to the Community Hall between 12 & 12:30 pm on the day of the event.
- You will need to bring your chili in a crock pot with serving utensils.
- Judging will take place at 3:30 pm. Please be present for awards and plan to pick up your crock pot & utensils following the awards ceremony.
- This year, we will have a pre-selected panel of judges! If you are interested in being on the judging panel, please click the link below. Spots will be limited!
- Chili will be judged by its display, color, texture, flavor, & aroma.
- The deadline to enter is Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5 pm.
