Goal
There is always something to do in McLean for residents and visitors alike. Historical sites and attractions, festivals and events, activities, classes, and clubs engage, entertain, and educate both visitors and residents.

Strategies

1. Organize special events year-round
2. Build a cooperative relationship with other organizations, clubs, churches, etc. in McLean
3. Draft a marketing plan
4. Expand current events
5. Work with the Parks and Recreation Action Team on developing sports/fitness-related events

• Participation in Independence Day Celebration
• Chili Cook-off & Supper
• Participation in Christmas in the Village
